OBUMC has a very close relationship with our sister church La Sierrita.  La Sierrita is located in the district of Cienfuegos and the pastor is Alcibiades Nequet.  They meet in the home of a member.  We are presently negotiating to purchase a home that may be used both as a parsonage and a church. Also, we are trying to buy the lot across the street from the parsonage/church on which we can in the future build a separate church.

La Sierrita has started a least twelve missions of which three have become churches. La Sierrita church itself started as mission of another church in the Cienfuegos district.
