We meet at Sopchoppy UMC on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 p.m. We have youth from middle school and high school. Dinner is from 6:00-6:30. After Dinner from 6:30-7:00 we do our card ministry (sending cards and letters to people in the congregation, community, and our World Vision child). Next, we do team building type of activities, Jeopardy-type games, etc. Finally, from 7:00- 8:00 we have our worship service in the sanctuary: praise & worship, devotional, prayer time, and Bible Study. |

Youth Leader Winky Rice: December 13, 2008 we had a Chicken Dinner and Skits Fund Raiser. We have been practicing feverishly to prepare for a fun and blessed night of fellowship and Christian entertainment. We are also continuing with our "Hire-a-Youth" to help members of the community with yard clean-up and other jobs to earn money for trips, etc. Our Bible Study theme for this month is "the Holy Spirit". |
